Somali Pirates

I just think it’s an unfortunate “coincidence” that the hooks that the Somali Pirates use are manufactured right here in the US of A.

    Jeff,

    I’ve been a fan of yours for a while, but I just heard some of your testimony on Wretched Radio as Todd Friel commented on it. I went to Tangle.com and found the video and have listened to it 4 or 5 times now. I am always fascinated to hear the unique ways that God calls people. My own experience was actually somewhat similar to yours, in that God placed the exact scripture in front of me to prove in one fell swoop that he 1. Answers prayers 2. Knows me and my questions/doubts, and 3. has answers to those doubts.

    My stumbling block was the typical ‘what about the people who’ve never heard of Jesus?’ question. At 40 years old, I had not been to a church in probably 25 years, but I had a Living Bible on the shelf that my mother had given me when I was eleven. One night, when I was very distraught with the ‘what is the meaning of life?’ question, I opened that Bible at random. The page that I opened was Romans chapter 1. As I read the words, they practically jumped off the page at me. I was immediately knocked to my knees in tears. That was six years ago. I have consumed the scriptures ravenously ever since then. I refer to my experience as my ‘brain transplant.’

    Jeff,

    I too have just heard your testimony on Wretched radio.

    What a gracious God we serve, I too have a similiar past to yours.

    Yet this God we serve was gracious enough to rescue me, rescue us.

    MY prayer is that the Lord keeps you and protects you whilst causing you to grow all the more in Christ as you studiy the scriptures daily.
